This is a great video from the guy that started Hubspot’s sales. What I liked about it, apart from the interesting metrics and detailed analysis of what works, is that the new recruits started by doing their own marketing and using the product.
The video includes some really useful tips and suggestions, not least the need to create playbooks for the sales team, which is something we do in our Sales Enablement programme. And I’ve not seen most of the information in the standard books on sales methodology.
There’s a bit of a Hubspot promo at 25’ – 30’ but stick with it as there is good stuff later…
